MCCC chapter members continue to push for action to address problems on the Wellesley campus.
Joined by colleagues from community colleges across Massachusetts, the members of the Massachusetts Bay Community College Professional Association today held an informational picket in an effort to get the college's Board of Trustees to investigate the current climate and atmosphere on campus. The picket, attended by about 50 MassBay members and supporters, was held outside of a regularly scheduled trustees' meeting.
The MassBay chapter, affiliated with the Massachusetts Community College Council, is asking the college's trustees to thoroughly examine the current administration and take action.
MassBay members are asking supporters to send e-mails to the MassBay trustees reinforcing their message. Names of trustees, e-mail addresses and sample text are posted at www.mccc-union.org.
